Sorry, but I always get so confused when SOME Christians are like “ Well Atheism is so depressing, you guys just think we came from monkeys and when we die nothing happens and that theres nothing looking out for us! “ Buddy, please hold my fucking hand when i tell you this but in my personal opinion nothing is more beautiful than cold hard reality.

No, there is no god looking out for us. No, we don’t go anywhere after we die. No, we don’t exist for any higher reason than just pure coincidence. And you know what, how is that not a reason to appreciate what we’ve got even more? No god is going to swoop in and save us, we cant sit around waiting, we have to realize that only we can fix what we ourselves do and take this shit into our own hands. This world belongs to nobody, not even us. We live on a floating rock in the cold vast vacuum of space that by some UNBELIEVABLE CHANCE changed and evolved to have us. HOW IS THAT NOT THE SICKEST THING YOU’VE EVER HEARD. “ Oh but thats so unrealistic the chances are so slim “ SLIM DOES NOT MEAN NONE SHARON IT IS A SCIENTIFIC MARVEL THAT WE HAVE SUCH A DIVERSE AND COMPLEX ECOSYSTEM ARE YOU NOT FUCKING PUMPED ABOUT BEING ALIVE WITH ALL THIS ORGANIC HOME GROWN WONDERS AROUND YOU?!? The fucking domino effect that even lets us and everything around us exist in the way it is right now due to evolution, mutations, genes, reproduction, growth. Every little molecule, diversions, every bacteria and atom and chemical and reaction is precious and wonderful and to just wave all this beauty away to “its so perfect because some guy must’ve made this all for us” really just fucking bumms me out man. We aren’t nihilistic, just realistic. And just because we dont think all our issues can be fixed by some sky man doesn’t mean we don’t have morals or cant be positive.
