for the unaware im taking inspiration from ancient levantine/ pagan arab mythology, specifically the woman sun - man moon diety concept (as opposed to the western norm/ ideal of sun god & moon goddess) which i find fascinating and bajilion times cooler lol. i am keeping the sibling angle tho bc i like it lol.
shams is arabic for sun and her moon bro will be called qamar (unless.. i make them twin brothers badr & hilal; full moon and crescent respectively. lmk what u think aha). btw this is inspired art, not anything devotional or religious. tis simply the result of a marriage of my interests: mythos and the regions rich history (and arting about it lol) so keep that in mind pls and enjoy the process with me :> thoughts questions and stuff welcome as always!!
