the fact that eclipse, despite his name suggesting that he is an eclipse, is infact NOT an eclipse. He's the sun, thats a very well known fact. And despite the moon covering the majority of the sun during an eclipse, it still doesnt cover ALL of it, and its for a short time!! The sun still shines through, seeing as its way bigger than the moon could ever be, and the moon could never fully cover up the sun because of the fact the sun shines SUPER bright!!
ECLIPSE CANNOT HIDE THE FACT HE IS THE SUN DESPITE BEING A SERVANT OF DARKNESS!! EVERYTHING POINTS TO HIM BEING A SUN!! his white suit that shines super bright and reflects basically all sunlight, his real name (elio) which literally means the sun, his blonde hair he styles to curve downwards despite it actually curving UPWARDS LIKE SUNRAYS, HIS FLAMBOYANT PERSONALITY, hell even his zodiac sign is leo, AND LEO'S ARE RULED BY THE SUN!! Eclipse CANNOT fully hide behind the moon, MAKING HIM THE ECLIPSE INSTEAD OF THE MOON!! ISNT THAT SO COOL?? HE'S QUITE LITERALLY RULED. BY. THE. SUN!!
