One time a game got in my head and I needed more Dorian romance. So I wrote it. 

And from that i created an entire universe.

And from that I met a wonderful woman and fell in love with her as surely as she had fallen in love with my universe.

And she fell so in love with it, that she was dreaming her own Inquisitor to be a companion, and my Trevelyan was the only Inquisitor for her.

And because of that she shared him with me.

And I fell in love with him as surely as I had fallen in love with her.

And we began writing them together. And we fell in love with them being in love.

And from all of this, from a story written to fill in the blanks of another story, from a universe ever-expanding to fill and enrich that void, an AU was born.

A “Makers” AU where Fitzwilliam Trevelyan and Mahanon Lavellan have known each other for decades.
