I want to make up for all the shit I've done, but...am I? Will it ever be...enough?"

Faith sighs, glancing at the vampire. "Do you understand it?"

She fixed him with a look. "It's not an exact science you know." And science was definitely not her thing to begin with, that was more a Fitz and Simmons package deal. Not her. How was she supposed to know how her alien DNA powers are supposed to work? All the Inhumans were different. She rubbed the wrist of the hand she had used to try direct her quakes. She should have brought the braces made for her. She would be in a cast for weeks after this. "Using this is a little different to using the weapons from my SHIELD training."

Who does that remind her of? — it's an unsuspecting gag from an unsuspecting face, and the combination makes her snort (... quickly covered by her palm, because god that's embarrassing). Once you come across one, you come across several.

"Well. I'm Ashley, you're Ash, there's technically one of each of us. Back in sixth grade, I had a class with three Ashleys; it's my first time knowing a guy Ashley. So. Hi, Guy Ashley," Ashley's eyes dart from the cup, messily scribbled with their name(s?), back to Ash(ley?), one brow arched. "Your full name is Ashley, right? If you're just Ash, you'd be my first... just Ash."

Ashley tap-taps intermittently against the counter, picking up the, in her case, less coffee more topping, and trying to spy the beverage's ingredients.

"Yeaaah, this list's way too short to be mine. Well, Ash and-or Ashley, one of us is going to have to add our last name's when ordering. And..."

She could pose a false name, but what if she, like, forgot it in the span of time of ordering and receiving that order?

"I could say the same back to you." After all, she had loved him just as equally. He was her first love and would always be. It was clear now that it was dangerous for them to be together. Even after all this time, that revelation still hurt, but Angel would remain an important part of her nonetheless.

"But it hasn't been all that terrible for you lately? I mean, I know what it's like saving the world and all the things that come with it, but...you're helping people? That's a good thing. You're really going out there and being everyone's guardian angel." Despite her nervous rambling, she was proud of him, giving him a smile.
