I'm having a few thoughts about Teen!Stan and how his body is much wider than Ford's and how he might have had some level of body dysphoria about it.
Hear me out.
They're identical twins (besides the fingers thing) and they're kind of seen as losers and crooks, Ford happily following his brother into mischief and Stan kind of always looking for trouble. A pair, do not separate.
Then Filbrick forces them to take the boxing lessons and I would imagine that at the very least, it acts as a good way for Stan to spend his energy, makes him more manageable from a parenting point of view.
But Ford barely pays attention, barely contributes and so his body remains scrawny while Stan's grows wider. He jokes about it, says he's gonna steal all the babes away from Ford with his cool bod but I wonder if deep down, he doesn't hate that it's one more thing that makes him different. One more thing that reminds him he's the dumb twin, one more thing that makes him realize he looks like his dad.
So he punches harder and his hands get rougher, and he still breaks things and boxing doesn't help anymore but it's all he has, the only thing he's kinda good at, so he keeps at it.
Until he breaks one thing too many and he's just out there with no direction and no clue what to do, wondering when he started to take so much space that his family couldn't stand it anymore.
(I also have thoughts about the fact everyone calls him the dumb twin when like, everyone is dumb, if you compare them to Ford, it's not a fair comparison. Their teachers are dumb compared to Ford, no one calls them that. But they're a pair and so Stan is the dumb twin)
