observe. analyze. jonathan had never been one to do either of these things, but after ending up here, stuck in this pathetic version of a school, he knew he had to. it was a matter of survival, after all. as far as he had gathered, after being forced to come to this pathetic camping trip– it was that there were absolutely no shadowhunters around.. none but her. oh, yes, clarissa was around here somewhere – he could feel her as easily as he could feel that there were no other possible threats around, a courtesy of his own demon blood and.. eventually, he would find her. all in due time. he just needed to be patient. being among mundanes was disgusting, but.. it hadn’t taken jonathan much time to realize that there were not just mundanes here – but people of all different species, some of which he had never seen before. fascinating. as of now, he had chosen to occupy his time with observing the people around him and getting to know them, so there would be no possible surprises after this. he wouldn’t be caught by surprise. not again. sipping a bit of water, jonathan looked up from his book and moved closer to an individual who stood near him, offering them a polite smile, as he looked them up and down. no runes, no sign of a weapon and absolutely no sign of a steele, good. “Nice evening, isn’t it? I wouldn’t go out exploring on your own, though.. we wouldn’t want anyone else to disappear, like that poor, unfortunate student.”
