I really did not like Eboni. I honestly couldn’t stand the condescending way she talked with her eyes closed during her confessionals and her immaturity and occasional conceitedness didn’t paint her in the best light. However, the “30-Never” fuckery was awful and I understand her frustration with the “always wear pigtails!” nonsense the judges kept harping on about. Eboni was lucky to make it this high in my ranking because her portfolio was pretty underwhelming as a whole. The only shots I truly liked were her Maple Syrup, Dinner Party, and Toddler photos. She landed in my bottom 2 a total of 5 times (50% of her time in the competition) and never placed above 3rd. That’s not exactly a track record worthy of a placement in the Top 5 of the cycle. Eboni did have a relatively strong walk and that combined with her stunning appearance helped her to succeed at booking jobs during go-sees. If she didn’t have that going for her I would’ve placed her below Seymone. Like many of the girls this cycle, I really wanted Eboni to perform at the level her raw potential seemed to promise. Unfortunately her run in the competition wasn’t very impressive and I think that she lasted a bit too long. However, Eboni grew a ton after her cycle, and I am extremely impressed by her outstanding post-show career!
