Socks are one of the projects I knit most often. I like how I can try out different stitch patterns, experimenting with constructions, and the wearability of a good pair of handknit socks.
This pair is a testknit for Key Knits. I saw the test knit call and the socks looked so pretty that I just had to knit them. I'm using some yarn from my stash, and I'm very pleased with the colour combination, and how the colours and the stitch pattern works together. So far so good. I've knit one sock but that doesn't quite make a pair so I'll cast on to knit sock number two very soon.
The plan is that I'll pass them on to my person's mother when her birthday comes around later this year. I hope, she'll like them as well.
