Since two big bands were playing after Julian’s set, once the Voidz left the stage, the crowd started pushing really badly again. I decided to ask a security guard to take me out of the crowd in fear of getting squished to death. Once I was out, they told me to hurry up and leave towards stage left, and for some reason, I decided to take the letters with me at the last second.

As I was running to leave the crowd by myself, I hear some people in the crowd screaming Julian’s name, and I stop, look over to my left and see him and all the Voidz behind a gated area outside stage left . I paused even though another security guy was telling me to keep moving, but this was probably my only chance. I managed to get back around behind the barricade, and move all the way up to the front so my view was looking straight into the open part of the gate. At this time, Beardo started approaching where we were and I was freaking out. I asked if he could come over, and then quickly explained the whole letter deal and the situation we were in. I asked if he could take them for me, and he was more than helpful. He asked if I wanted, he could take them to Julian right then, or try and ask Julian to come out so I could give them to him myself. I told him I honestly didn’t care, as long as they got to him, and he said he would take them because he was sure Julian was gonna go “meet up with his lady”. I laughed, and then told him to take them if he could, and then I thanked him a bunch and then off he went back behind the gated area.

I waited there patiently as I saw Beardo regroup with all the Voidz in their little circle. I then saw him talking, and although Julian’s back was sort of facing us (which is sorta disappointing, I wish I could have seen his reaction!!), I could tell he showed Julian the letters. They talked for a few more seconds, and then Beardo looked over to where I was and smiled and gave me a very excited thumbs up. Gosh I felt so happy, I couldn't believe how lucky I got, and above all, I couldn't believe all these people’s letters finally got delivered after two months of printing and packaging.

By this time, I see Alex look over, and I wave him over and he comes out. As many of you already know, Alex is my favorite. Honestly, I have no idea what we talked about or if I even said anything at all. My brain had turned to mush, and my short term memory dissolved, partly because he was right there and because of what just happened with the letters. All I remember is that the flash on my phone didn't go off, so it was basically like I didn’t even get a picture with him at all. He seemed kind of lost though, I dunno, maybe he was high lol. I did hug him though, and I distinctly remember hearing his accent which is Glorious btw.

He sort of wandered away back inside the gate, and then Jeff starts approaching. I said hi to him, and the first thing I could blurt out was a thank you for playing I’ll Try Anything Once. I then told him about seeing them at SXSW and surprisingly he remembered both of the venue names, and asked which one I went to. I said both, even though technically that was a lie because I didn’t even get close to getting into the second one, but at the moment I wasn’t thinking.

Out of the three Voidz I met, Jeff was definitely the easiest to talk to. He was very friendly/charming and I felt like I could talk to him for hours if there was the time. 

Then, Beardo and a blonde lady come back out of the gate. He asked "where's the letters girl?" and after seeing me, pointed me out to her. She was now holding the letters.

I asked Jeff for a picture, and after he thought the first one was bad, and suggested another, Beardo hopped in the picture.

After the picture, Jeff said he said he had to go. Then Beardo told me the lady wanted to tell me something, and while he left, she stayed for a moment to tell me that she had heard about the project through one of the cult interns, and that she was really happy I was able to get them all there and deliver them safely. She genuinely seemed happy, and said that for the meantime since they all were busy getting ready to leave, she'd hold onto them for safekeeping. 

So anyways, yeah! Sorry that took so long to get posted, I've just been really busy with traveling back home, starting school, and going to work. 

I feel really bad because I wish I would've remembered to record the whole thing happening, but since it was so unexpected, I honestly didn't know what to do. 

And, I know some of you have asked already, "why didn't Julian come out and meet you?", well.... he would've gotten attacked lol. Everyone at that festival knew who he was and it would've been absolute madness.
