I figured for my birthday this year I'm going all out, not watching all of the LOTR extended but also eating like a Hobbit that day so here it is!
Hobbit birthday menu
1- breakfast: bacon sausage eggs hashbrowns toast w/jam
2- second breakfast: pastries, coffee, toast w/jam
3- elevensies: tea, biscuits w/jam
4- lunch: quiche, salad w/feta spinach vinegret, Hard cider
5- afternoon tea: tea, biscuits, apple brown betty
6- supper: salmon wellington, roasted root vegetables, red wine
7- dinner: chocolate chip cookies, milk.
This morning has been a nibbles and snacking kind of morning while I write. I've got a rich triple creme cheese, a bright goat cheese, a sweet lemon plum, a bit of raspberry preserves, slices of fresh baked bread spread with Irish butter and kissed with local honey before I toasted it, and some amazing white roe pate.
