CNY reunion dinner is a must. No matter how busy we are, we have to prepare a sumptous meal that night. . For 2020, we finally had a chance to enjoy reunion dinner a night before the actual day with my parents. . DIY steamboat in Kuantan (chicken soup) and blanched chicken (with Mr Hubby's signature dipping sauce)- with prawns, assorted fish ball/crab ball/seafood tofu/fish/Wong bok/carrot. . Last night, dinner at in laws as usual, a table full of home cooked feast- steamed patin, blanched chicken, steamed pork belly with yam, Assam mustard green soup, roast duck, steam prawns, stir fry assorted vegetables. . CNY is all about spending time with loved ones. Of course also about enjoying good food. . We haven't explored this part of the town for food to be honest. And we were genuinely surprised to discover such a cosy and modern dining space. Initially started by entrepreneurs from PolyTech MARA College, the White and Black Cabin now showcases an interesting variety of Asian food, including halal local, Japanese and Korean cuisine at an affordable price tag. Since we had such a great dining experience at Gangnam Street, here we were again trying out a different set of dishes.
