Day 1 - Black Music Month: "B" #BlackMusicMonth #JuneWritingChallenge
Ah, the writing challenge and Black Music Month.
To celebrate my favorite month that consists of all black history, I wanted to start off with a "B"-ang (literally). A BLACK (emphasis on the B, negro) "B"-ang. You see where I'm going with this right? The letter B(if you're slow)! The letter that kicks off the title of my favorite month. Black. B. Black Music.
So since I'm down on time (it's literally 11:53pm) and I got a topic that I'm not considering changing (tick, tock, tick, tock), I decided, "why not name my favorite artists with the letter B?" A couple of requirements: they're black (duh), have a significant matter in my life, and they're just that DOPE.
Beyonce (Need I say more? This woman is my life, no CAMEL shall cometh between).
Biggie (It's Unbelievable, Biggie Smalls is STILL the illest).
Big Daddy Kane (Yeah, I got my two-step on to this fool).
Brandy (Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby!).
Boyz II Men (To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan past the "Motown Philly" single).
Tamar Braxton (eh, what the hell. It's still a B, right? And I love the ratchet).
Bobby Brown ("Every Little Step I take!")
Chris Brown (Free Breezy!)
Brownstone (If You Love Me!)
Bone Thugs 'N Harmony (I was super scared of their videos as a child.)
Blackstreet (Before I let you GOOOOOOOOOOO!)
Bobby Womack (That's the way I feel about, ya).
Bobby Caldwell (He's black in my book, LOL).
Barry White (Can't get enough of your love, baby).
Beyonce (Yes, I don't give a damn, this WOMAN is my WIFE.)
Bow Wow (Ok, Andrew. Really? Scratch that.)
Jesse Boykins. (The III; too underrated.)
Blu Cantrell (What the hell happened to her?)
Bo Diddley (Ha, now I'm just reaching.)
Bryan-Michael Cox (this producer is AMAZING).
Mary J. Blige (What's the 411?)
James Brown (Make it FUNKY!)
Eric B. (Need Rakim, though.)
Ah, great line. That's my Bs (all pun intended) for #BlackMusicMonth.
I got this #JuneWritingChallenge on lock. Shouts to my homie Natelege.
