Ingredients: 6 large potatoes, peeled and cubed. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 cup butter. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Boil the peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add milk and butter to the pot with the potatoes. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if necessary. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese and bacon if desired.
