March 5th - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a reception at Buckingham Palace held in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Prince of Walesā investiture
March 6th - The Cambridges performed an away day in Blackpool. They visited Blackpool Tower, where they joined a roundtable briefing about the townās recent history, the challenges, and the investment and regeneration efforts that are currently underway. William and Catherine then met the gathered public on theĀ āComedy Carpetā. At Blackpool Library, the Duke met people affected by problems around mental health, as well as representatives of the emergency services, while the Duchess joined people involved in Blackpoolās āA Better Startā programme. William and Catherine visited Kirby Road, before making their final visit of the day to Revoe Park
