BUNNYMUND'S FUR TUTORIAL:
You will find more tutorials on my tumblr blog ^^
Let's make Bunnymund's fur ^^
First of all you have to buy synthetic fur: I couldn't find a good fur in a fabric shop, so I bought a a carpet (I found it in an Ikea store). I don't have a photo of it, it was round, however you just need a fur which is soft but not too thick. Of course be sure to buy enough fur! I used it to cover my boyfriends back, his chest, his forearms and, of course, to make his ears.
Draw the paper pattern of the cosplay. I posted you only the photo of the back part, 'cause is the most particular: as you can see it covers all the shoulders (in order to make them seem larger), it becomes thinner on the waist (in order to make it seem thinner), and it end with those two strips. For the chest I draw a simple triangle, which covers the shoulders and ends on the final part of the breastbone. For the forearms I draw two simple rectangles, which goes from the elbow to the knukles: I didn't gave them a different shape cause they're always covered by the bracers. For the ears I draw exactly the shape of the ears, just a little bigger than them (about a inch or less), in order to be able to sew them. I prefered not to draw all this shapes on paper, but directly on the fur, of course on his back side; I suggest you to do what you prefer, but to use my method for the big part which goes on the back, or probably you will make something wrong.
Oh, of course I did also the tail ;) draw two simple trangles, one bigger than the other.
Cut! Use sharp scissors, or you'll become crazy. In order not to cut too much fur I used a fine-tooth comb, and brushed all the fur, trying to separate it along the line I used to cut it. If you don't manage to just brush it toward the inside part of the shape, so you'll cut the fur that you won't use
If you need to, dye the fur. You'll need to dye all the pieces of fur except for the bigger triangle of the tail and the triangle of the chest
Here is the tutorial if you need it:

Sew the fur. As you can see I bought a longsleeve t-shirt in order to use it as a base. I didn't know that the fur would have turned blue (I'm happy of that colour, really happy, but, as I used black ink, I expected it to be grey), so I bought a grey t-shirt: if you can buy a white one and dye it, it'll be better.
First of all sew the triangle on the cest (cut it a little under the neck if it's too suffocating); the sew the fur on the back: sew it only from the shoulder to the waist.
Sew together the two triangle of the tail; of course leave a hole on the base: you will need it to pad the tail and put the wiry inside of it
Draw the decoration's on the back: I used a blue sharpie and a black one and simply coloured the fur. I know the photo sucks, I will change it ^^'
Draw the decorations on the arms. I used some dark-grey acrylic
Secure the two strips of the back on your trousers, using some safety pins. Of course cover them with the fur
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial ^^ I know this cosplay isn't perfect, expecially because it's half grey and half blue, however it was just my second cosplay and it wasn't easy to do, so I'm satisfied. If I'll improve it, of course, I will update here ^^
Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow I will post the tutorial for the ears, the tail, the bracers and the stripe for the boomerangs ^^
