a 58 year old black man named Earl Smith was lynched in albany new york.
the police don't care to identify him or look at camera footage in the area. it's not on the news in albany and police immediately deemed it suicide. this country is NOT safe don't let anyone tell you it is. it's 2025.

Havenāt seen any posts about this on here so I felt the need to share this. His name is Earl Smith. None of his family members whoāve spoken about this believe this was a suicide. Coverage on this has been abysmal. There were cameras where he was found with footage that could very well solve this that the police arenāt accessing. Keeping everything quiet and shrouded in mystery is intentional. We canāt let this get swept under the rug and let the unjust discrimination and violence against us become a pattern.

Almost 20 years ago we recorded a track (with Hardfloor) but something was missing.We decided to contact Earl Smith Jr. aka āSpankyā from the legendary Phuture Project to lay down some vocals.When they arrived at our studio (he brought Professor Trax with him) he was fucking around with the vocals and lyrics during the mic check.He was like: "This is Cocaine speakingā and "Phuture will surviveā and i got goosebumps since these were the tracks which brought me into music production.Immediately he came up with the hook: "Hardfloor will survive - Phuture will stay aliveā and everyone was like: Yeah, thatĀ“s it !ā¦... letĀ“s do this !ā¦..so they wrote the rest of the lyrics for this song. During the recording process Ramon and I discovered the potential of the lyrics and since our original version was more ālaid backā we recorded the āClub Mixā the next day. Until today ItĀ“s part of our live sets !
