Classic Eames Chair – Timeless Design & Unmatched Comfort

Many years ago Charles and Ray Eames took their first paper mâché prototype to a boat maker and asked him to make a fiberglass version using the paper model as a mold. Turns out the boat maker made two versions because the paper mâché held up for second turn. He offered the Eames the second one for another $25 but they didn't need it nor could afford it. So this chair sat on a garbage can in the makers shop for over 60 years .
