Ok this isn't directly Wayne related and is mostly belated but I really would like a united states American to describe to me what the fourth of July even is. Like I know what it *is* objectively yay independence but is it universally celebrated by Americans? What do you,, do?? And why??
Like I guess in new zealand we have Waitangi Day but it's not really the same because Māori got pretty fucking scammed of our sovereignty in the end. Maybe Matariki but that's pretty sparsely celebrated.
Anyways. Help me make 4th of July headcanons or something
