A commission I did for the wonderful @eagerbones in return for a possum skull and some bones! 💀💖
eagerbones answered your question “Hey y’all, I have a bit of a question… My r@bbit skull, which I’ve...”
It's a natural thing. Skulls tend to fall apart, especially more delicate ones like rabbits. You will just have to glue it together when it's clean and dry. :)
Is there any specific type you’d recommend? I assume regular Elmer’s glue isn’t the best to use on bone haha, but I could be wrong - this is my first at-home maceration / decomp, so I’m new to any issues that might pop up.
@eagerbones
I’ve hit 2,000 followers. So I wanted to do a giveaway. I wanted the giveaway to be available for everyone, but stay bone/nature related at the same time. So I have worked for a few days to make some art I thought could be appreciated.
Now, it’s not much but I hope it can make someone happy. Because having 2,000 people support me and to have watched the vulture culture grown means a lot. Both the good and the bad that comes with it. I hope everyone will like these things.
Giveaway rules:
Must be following me, I will check
Ask box or messaging open so I can tell you that you won
Comfortable giving me a mailing address to mail the art
This giveaway is for anyone in the world, so outside US is accepted

Giveaway ends Monday July 25th 2016
Will message you privately and also announce on my blog

i found a dead blue bird outside my house and i really want it’s skull, so i’m considering maceration. i’ve never done it before so i hope its not horribly disgusting. thank god its winter and its keeping maggots away.
time to read tutorials (most likely from eagerbones, i really like her stuff)
i might post pictures if it all works out
reptila-tequila answered your post: how much would someone have to pay you...
id like to ideally get at least $160 but if someones willing to pay me anything id do it probably
yeah same, i'd be willing to go pretty low
eagerbones answered your post: how much would someone have to pay you...
depends on how old the maceration water is. but probably at least 200 dollars.
that's a good number, i'd definitely do it for that much. and spend it all buying more heads to put in the bucket
My package arrived today from eagerbones and I'm so excited!!
