i. When you laugh, I can't put it on a piece of sheet music, but the planets know that I pray to rename one of them after you. We used to try to climb it when summer came in a rush of sweat dripping off our brows and you grinned at the singing sky when it trembled with thunder and sent it a get-well card with a balloon. ii. When you laugh, my ribcage hurts from laughing with you. There is too much in my mind going on all at once but yours slots itself into a thousand different colors that bleed out from your fingertips and when you open your mouth to smile at me, you exhale a spectrum no one can quite see.
