at     fourteen     ,     elena     sends     in     an     audition     tape     to     multiple     labels     as     a     dare     from     a     friend     .               it's     not     an     unusual     thing     :     many     girls     do     the     same     .               in     fact     ,     most     girls     in     her     class     alone     have     .               no     one     expects     it     to     go     anywhere     &&     in     fact     it     almost     doesn't               [     ...     ]               until     a     little     over     a     month     later     when     she's     being     notified     that     she's     wanted     to     join     a     labels     idol     training     .               she     wants     it     ,     surprising     herself     with     just     how     much     ,     &&     she     works     hard     to     convince     her     parents     to     let     her     .               it's     a     long     battle     before     permission     is     finally     given     .

unfortunately     ,     their     career     doesn't     last     long     .               a     little     under     two     years     later     ,     due     to     unforeseen     circumstances     they     disband          &&     a     few     months     later     elena     debuts     again               [     ...     ]               this     time     as     a     soloist     .               she     releases     her     first          (     mini     )     studio     album     five     months     after     that     .          

at     twenty     ,     her     acting     career     begins     .               she     nabs     the     female     leading     role     in     an     idol     drama     ,     receiving     mostly     positive     reviews     &&     starts     filming     another     show     almost     immediately     afterwards     .               by     twenty     two     she's     considered     a     household     name     .               

she     takes     a     break     from     music     between     the     ages     of     twenty     two     to     twenty     five     to     focus     more     on     acting     .               once     she     returns     ,     the     solos     released     leading     up     to     her     new     album     all     top     the     charts     .               

primarily     works     for     television     but     does     have     a     small     handful     of     films     under     her     belt     .              

Grayson          transfers     to     a     nearby     hospital     where     he     continues     his     work     as     a     physician     while     miranda     was     a     stay     at     home     mom     in     order     to     raise     the     children     .               They’re     a     good     family     ,     well     known     within     the     community     &&     grayson     develops     a     good     reputation     in     his     new     hospital     ,     however               [     ...     ]               when     elena     is     17     ,     in     her     final     year     of     high     school     ,     there’s     an     accident     .               While     she     &&     her     parents     are     driving     home     one     night     ,     something     goes     wrong     &&     their     car     ends     up     wrapped     around     a     telephone     pole     .               Elena     is     the     only     one     that     survives     .          

Mirandas     younger     sister     ,     jenna     ,     comes     to     take     care     of     them     .               She     ,     too     ,     had     moved     to     seoul     not     long     after     her     sister     &&     her     family     ,     albeit     a     different     district     ,     &&     so     it     didn’t     take     much     effort     or     time     .
