My library just implemented Hoopla, an e-library resourse with absolutely no waiting for holds, and you can check out ebooks, eaudiobooks, movies, music, tv shows, and download them all to watch online (for a limited time, obvi, it’s a library) so now I’m stuck.
I’m reading Harry Potter again. I’m almost through Chamber of Secrets. I had to replace my Prisoner of Azkaban so I bought a used hardcover on Amazon but it likely won’t get here until like Wednesday.
Libby has PoA but it’s checked out to capacity and I’d have to place a hold, for which the wait list is approx. 9 weeks out. No thanks, I’ll just wait for my copy.
Hoopla doesn’t actually have any of the Harry Potter books (GASP!) but what it does have is Neal Gaiman’s Sandman comics with no waiting.
Do I wait for my PoA to arrive or do I pass the time with Sandman and risk falling into a hole I’ll never escape, thus risk not finishing Harry Potter?
