'Legal e-joint' made from marijuana leaves to go on sale in Britain next week
An e-cigarette made from marijuana leaves will go on sale in Britain next week - and its makers believe the KanaVape is entirely legal in the UK. Looking similar to a 'normal' e-cigarette, the Kanavape contains an E-liquid made with extracts of hemp, which its makers claim will offer a 'legal and tasteful' way to enjoy the herb. It's thought to be legal in the UK as the E-liquid contains no THC - the active ingredient in marijuana, responsible for users feeling 'stoned'. Its makers claim the active ingredient is another, similar chemical found naturally in cannabis, called cannabidiol or CBD. They say it offers a 'relaxed' feeling.
We made KanaVape to give millions of people a legal and tasteful way of using cannabinoids.

'This product does not have any psychoactive or euphoric effect,' its makers warn in a disclaimer on the Kanavape site. Sophie Macken, of the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs, added: 'CBD is legal and has some therapeutic and neuroprotective properties. It is not usually something that would be used recreationally though so this sounds like a bit of a gimmick.' The 'legal joint' is made by a French company and sold via the internet. The Home Office has not ruled on the legal status of the product, but other THC-free hemp extracts are used in cothing and health-food products, so it is thought to be likely to be legal.
We craft our production with love, care and scientific research. KanaVape is good for our customers and good for the planet.
