Almost a year ago, I got an email that I never thought could made such a big impact in my life. June 7 marks my first year as part of the Casetify artist family. It’s been almost a year and I can’t believe I’ve made almost $300 and sold 68 cases! 

At first, there was not much progress. The first few months were hard. Although I’ve been promoting it on different social media accounts, I’m hardly making any sales. You can’t cash out any money unless it’s $10 and above. And you only get them every 5th of the month. I didn’t sold any cases on my first month, I made one in July, three in August and again none on September. My first pay check was only $13.27. I still kept on posting my designs and promoting it here on my blog, instagram and on facebook. 

Some months you get good sales, some months you don’t. You have these peak and off season. I guess it also depends on your design as well. I don’t really follow certain trends but it helps. People want what’s new. As you can see here my earnings on certain months are different. Sometimes it’s high, sometimes it’s low. 

This May was my highest pay check ever with almost a $100. My designs are mostly floral, watercolor type and quotes. I guess people are still into it because they still buy my cases. Here are some of my best-selling designs. 

As of today, I only got 1 sale. You can actually earn up to $6 depending on the case that people will buy. The higher the model, the higher the commission. Casetify don’t only cater to phone cases. They also have apple watch bands, macbook sleeves, ipad and ipod cases and phone cases for other brands of phone. If you wanna be a member of the artist collection, click “SELL” on the bottom part of the website. Make sure to have your portfolio link as they really review the works of their artists. An instagram or behance account would do if you don’t have your personal website. I’m sharing this as I want to help other artists earn extra money on the side.
