Is vetalga close to dyreth? I think you mentioned that were cousins or s/t a while ago but are they like friends? Does v get to scratch behind dyreth ears from time to time? Inquiring minds want to know
You are correct in remembering that they’re cousins!
And without spoiling too much I will say that V-man is pretty salty about his entire family. His relationship with Dyreth specifically will be expanded upon very soon.........

Ok so I have a side blog where I do aesthetic boards for people's OC's & I was wondering if I could make one for Amaranth, Dyreth & Vetalga. I'll tag you in it. & I fully understand if you're not comfortable with this but if you are, could you give me some info on those three ( it really helps make the boards pop) You can check out some of the boards on my other blog @imdecoratingspace

First of all, HOLY CRAP I WOULD LOVE THAT AND THANK YOU FOR ASKING!
Here’s the deets on the characters:
Amaranth’s overall aesthetic is sort of this earth/heaven sort of thing, like the night sky above a desert oasis. She’s a really earthy, intuitive person who’s mostly led by instinct and and a strong moral compass. She’s typically more on the demure side when it comes to personality, but not to the point of being especially reserved. She was raised in a very warm and loving family from a modest (poor, working class) background, so she’s a little bit cautious when it comes to social interaction but ultimately flourishes when given the freedom to discover and explore the outside world. The ethnic group she originates from was once nomadic, so trailblazing is pretty much in her blood.
Vetalga is kind of Amaranth’s antithesis, as he’s a very self-assured, confident creature to the point of being vain. His whole existence is essentially summed up in power, passion, and luxury. He’s intense and provocative and that causes him to clash with other strong personalities, which he enjoys in some ways because he’s all about making power plays and digging deep into people to bring out the raw emotion that he believes makes up their true selves. However, despite his giant ego, he does have the capacity to be sensitive and empathetic. Raw passion can translate to sensuality, and bullheadedness can translate into courage. His characters design/race is based on ancient Chinese imagery with a bit of flair tossed in. I generally picture his natural aesthetic as erupting volcanoes, smoldering coals, lava pools, and paper lanterns.
Dyreth can be described as a protective, nurturing soul. As the god of earth, soil, and stone, he’s steadfast but understanding. He believes in balance, moderation, and reason. He’s probably the biggest humanitarian of the four primordial gods. The generosity of the earth is what enabled humans to prosper since the beginning of history, so Dyreth takes pride in his benevolence. With the lion totem, he’s a natural leader.
Sorry if these are too long are too short! It’s a little difficult for me to sum up these characters in a way that doesn’t just seem like generic unhelpful fluff lol.
