Lee Rathbone

How I feel about this character: He’s in the favourites club among my OCs. I’m fond of all the little bastards, but some more than others. :D

All the people I ship romantically with this character: There’s nobody who manages to get into the captain’s pants in the canon storyline, but there’s a handful of crackships I’d happily sail. Rathbone x Lestrade, for one, because they’re both tops authoritative faction leaders and the power struggle would be delightful.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Either Erril Kaven or Aedin Demarco. Actually, not either/or. Kaven and Demarco and Rathbone, non-romantic OT3. There’s a lot of emotional support between them.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Characters do not need to be young to be interesting. =P

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:I dictate canon, I’m afraid, so there’s no answer to this.

my OTP:I don’t really have an OTP with him. But what the hell, he’s a silver fox and I’m flexible. Let’s say Rathbone/Lestrade when I want M/F and either Kaven or Marwyn for when I want M/M.

my cross over ship:Mmmnope.

a headcanon fact:He has never been good with computers. He considers what Soren Fenn (his faction’s head of intelligence) does to be borderline sorcery. This is something that Fenn never misses an opportunity to rib him about. It’s not nice to tease your commander, Snake-Eyes.

Mia Lestrade

How I feel about this character: I’ve got a thing about characters who are as ambitious as they are charismatic, and Lestrade’s determined to take over the Lesardian Empire, so hell YES.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Lestrade x Marwyn’s pretty much the Dynastyverse OTP. It’s canon as well. They’re not a traditional M/F couple and they’re not always strictly vanilla either. Nice. I’m willing to take Lestrade/Rathbone as well, because put two people who are used to being obeyed together and—sparks!

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Her and Amon Terrinas. Their relationship was cordial, sort of an emperor-and-royal-guard type of duo, but she had a lot of respect for him and learned things about empire and the handling thereof from him.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Ambitious characters aren’t always villainous. Lestrade’s arc is me giving the finger to that tired old “if you want things out of life you EAT BABIES and should DIE especially if you’re a WOMAN” narrative.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:The canon is mine to command, all mine! So there’s no answer here.
