KTM and Cardo systems expand cooperation to include KTM PACKTALK EDGE in KTM’s Motohall experience. Fans of KTM will now be able to add clear communication on KTM’s RIDE ORANGE EXPERIENCE, an extraordinary demo ride from the KTM Motohall. Participants will be offered the chance to hire a KTM PACKTALK EDGE for their KTM ride, adding another dimension to an already fantastic day. Available at a mid-range price point of €279.95, Cardo’s industry-first mesh communicator service offers Pay-Per-Feature subscription plans – allowing riders to get everything they need and nothing they don’t.

Based on the popular PACKTALK EDGE, the PACKTALK CUSTOM is the industry’s first wireless helmet communicator to allow riders to personalize their helmet comms experience by selecting from three subscription offerings on the Cardo Connect App, including SILVER, GOLD, and PLATINUM. In its stock form, the PACKTALK CUSTOM is loaded with features right out of the box, featuring Cardo’s second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication, Bluetooth 5.2 Technology, Over-The-Air updates, and a fully waterproof design – just to name a few. The key features of the SILVER package include everything in the base package with the addition of music sharing, audio profiles and speed dial. Riders looking for more features can opt for the GOLD package which includes the base and silver features but also expands to include Universal Bluetooth Intercom and a 2nd channel connection. Riders looking to ride with all the bells and whistles can upgrade to the PLATINUM which includes all the previous features from the lower tiers but is elevated with voice commands and eco mode. The PACKTALK CUSTOM utilizes the Cardo Connect app with Apple Pay and/or Google Pay to provide riders the ability to upgrade and/or scale back on the features needed at any time.  Simply connect to the app, pick your package and enjoy the desired features.  When switching from a higher subscription tier to a lower tier the features from the higher tier will remain through the billing cycle and the downgrade will be implemented at the start of the new billing cycle. LS2 adopts the new Universal Communication Solution standard from Cardo for its new line of helmets. Cardo and the global helmet manufacturer are the first to announce an integrated solution based on the new standard. LS2, one of the world’s largest producers of helmets in all categories, has chosen to adopt the Universal Communication Solution (UCS) standard featuring five new UCS-ready helmets compatible with proven technology from Cardo Systems. The dedicated LS2 4x product can be added to the whole dual-homologated ADVANT series – a brand-new model unveiled at EICMA – as well as the INFINITY II and INFINITY II Carbon helmets. Developed by Cardo Systems the LS2 4x connects up to four riders across Bluetooth up to 1.2km/0.75 miles, features Sound by JBL, Natural Voice Operation, OBi and is fully waterproof. The compact unit also boasts auto-reconnecting Bluetooth, so riders can ride their own ride without having to worry about connection issues. The UCS standard allows motorcyclists the freedom to choose, change and replace communication devices without compromising on fit and looks. Much in the same way that the Automakers and car stereo manufacturers adopted universal car stereo sizing and mounts (DIN/Double DIN Standard), the Universal Communication Solution standardizes communication systems size, and shape, allowing for integrated fitment in new motorcycle helmets, meeting the new ECE 22.06 standards. Following the announcement of the partnership with Honda Motor Europe and Cardo Systems, the Honda-branded, top-of-the-range PACKTALK EDGE device is now in European dealers*. The result of a new licensing agreement between the two world-renowned brands, the Honda PACKTALK EDGE joins the Honda line-up as an officially licensed product. Featuring Cardo’s second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) connectivity, riders can connect with up to 15 others, seamlessly join, leave and rejoin at a distance of eight kilometers (five miles) with no need to stop to reconnect or press any buttons. The EDGE houses the most advanced Bluetooth 5.2 chip so there’s also the option to connect to others in Bluetooth mode with fast pairing and Live Intercom Bluetooth support.
