Posted: 20 Jul 2016 01:09 AM PDT https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20160720010923AA7cgFA I bought a HP Pavilion laptop (product number: 15-au003tx) and I noticed that it has a slow hard drive (5400rpm) so I decided to order an SSD (Kingston V300 120GB) because I read that I can use it to boot and make the laptop a bit faster. I then also read that I could put the HDD in place of the optical drive, so I ordered a 9.5mm HDD caddy case to fit it in the optical drive.. I want to use the SSD as the primary boot drive and the HDD in the optical drive as a secondary storage drive, how can I make this all work? I'm not too good with laptops and a little help would be appreciated, thanks! Edit: Also, how would I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on the new SSD and deleting everything off of the HDD? The laptop is completely brand new and is still in the box, it's never been turned on.
