#dylan verse

A young girl approached Dylan, she showed no fear at the stranger. She poked at his back and put on a brave face.

"You Dylan, mister?"

She said right off the bat, behind her was what appeared to be a little deer fawn, but the little thing was a little humanoid and wearing a white shirt one too many sizes too big and shorts, the little one looked wary of everything, including his shadow.

Dylan jumped a bit, looking back and blinking his good eye. His only eye- he had regained movement in his waist and down, now only missing the leg and no longer paralyzed.

He looked down at the little girl, confused by both the sights and suddenly going up to him. He held the notebook a little closer to himself, makeshift crutches shifting.
