im thinking so hard about the ideal dylan/minx/harley polycule because both minxs relationship with harley and their relationship with dylan are important and healthy and would be so fun to explore the three of them growing older together, dylan and harley becoming friends because of their shared partner and learning magic from each other (dylans focus on nature magic vs harleys focus on space/time magic)
its not viable canonically due to how minx and harley change so drastically from when they were dating originally, minx can never fully be who she was and harley will never stop grieving until they let go of minx. harleys healing involves recognizing that their minx is gone, even if she remembers. even if she were to recall everything, even if she could move back home and live a normal life away from the odds project, minx is changed. because of how her experiences changed her and how my own experiences influence how ive written her, minx from before the incident and minx after the incident are completely different people.
harley does ultimately get their own healing happy ending where they fully transition (they get stuck in a state of wanting things to be how they were and dont take care of themselves :"( and get a cool punk partner
annnd there is the alternate reality where blake wins and harleys spell fucks up and they create a bubble of stopped time that they get stuck in :")
