them: hey, whats up?
me, internally: just thinking about all the previous incarnations of the doctor and how even though its the same base character with a set personality, each actor that plays the character has their own interpretation of them and the writers take them in completely different directions from previous actors while still being able to maintain who the doctor is deep down, and when you start to compare each incarnation to each other you see similarities in some places, and see a completely different character in others, but of course it all makes sense that way because if you were able to almost completely reconstruct your body in an attempt to fix it after going through something rough, there is no way that you would ever be the same person ever again, aside from your kept memories and base personality. anyways what im trying to say is that even though the doctor is one character, the writers and actors are able to portray so many different and unique versions of them while still keeping them entirely recognizable as the same doctor weve seen for nearly 60 years and it gives me whiplash thinking about it
me: haha nothing :)
