Well, if anything, he wasnât laughing his square zippo bum off at her, the diminutive robot thought to herself as she batted away the thick cloud of smoke the other had blown her way. Bad first impressions were the worst, sheâd learned fast enough, but given the rather rude and bored nature of their interaction so far, that seemed to be the least of her concern.
âWell, ex-queeze me, but yaâ go anâ try to look like something that DIDNâT come from the scrap heap when yerâ job is to trudge âround through mud anâ build tunnels on a daily basis.â She huffed back to the other âbot, crossing her arms onto her chest and trying to stand up as straight as possible, which... frankly didnât do much for her.
A voice in the back of her hand rang out like an alarm bell that just maybe she shouldnât be talking back to the annoyed-sounding robot - in fact, she definitely shouldnât be talking to him at all, and should book it as fast as she could, running or digging. And she knew the voice maybe spoke wisdom, but... so far, he hadnât quite incinerated her. Okay, that probably was a bad justification for her behavior. He hadnât TRIED to incinerate her - there, much better.
âSorry for the spiel, ahâ didnât mean to bother yaâ. Ahâm programmed to spout things like that whenever ahâ see humans do things like smokinâ anâ such, so ahâ just went with it. Tsâ kindaâ hard to get rid oâ the habit.â
