                 “i know i completely... vanished in the past few days but i know that you like my baked goods so much.” hayden pouted as soon as she showed up at ellie’s door.  a grin somehow slowly made its way into her lips, finding it hard not to laugh at how neither of them looked prepared for this situation. both were in their pajamas, and just basically not presentable for any other person to see. “and you’re one of the few people who gets to see my newly bleached hair upclose and personal.” she adds upon chuckling softly, then opened her arms as a form of greeting to her friend. “i’m so sorry i suck at communicating. and for always being gone.” she muttered to her right before pulling away. “i also... happened to bring us some really healthy and vegan-friendly food. we can talk about literally anything while munching of these!” @dvmelliet​

beth never really put her ego to the side and you’ll never hear her say those two words. ‘i’m sorry’ but she did it with ellie cause she thought that maybe it’s something that she had to do so she could leave her past in the past. beth just sat down on one of the benches and when she looked up there she was, sitting there all by herself with a bottle of beer in her hand. beth took a sip from hers. inside of her head she goes ‘do not do it beth do not do it’ but she the voice wasn’t strong enough. pouting her lips before standing up and sitting next to ellie. “so you’re all by yourself, sounds sad.” she said as she sat down next to her. @dvmelliet​

                 “i thought i’d say hi to my favorite person in springhill.” of course, hayden definitely has a basket of assorted baked goods with her. she never forgets the ones that her first friend in springhill liked, and knowing that she had been quite missing in action lately, she knew the best way to apologize for her absence was through showing up randomly, carrying a basket of treats, and her admitting that it was wrong of her to just disappear on everyone that cared about her. with a smile on her soft features, she lifted up her present and grinned like a child. “i’m so sorry for being gone-- and i hope that my muffins and cookies are still your favorite snacks.” @dvmelliet​
