We got all of our kiddos smaller laptops for Christmas last year. The only drawback is that there was no CD/DVD player/writer. This is really helpful with installing programs as well as burning files to a CD or DVD. My kiddos share it and it is very easy to use. There is no driver to install, no CD to install, just plug it into the computer and after a few seconds you are able to use it. My kiddos take a lot of pictures, some do digital drawings, and one likes to make mixed CDs. This drive works for all of their needs.
