D.Va I can see using a lot of her mechanic work towards personal projects outside of the mech. Especially since she is a gamer loser(/aff) at heart, she definitely comes off as someone who uses her own expertise to make stuff she wants or props. Only thing is that she isn't the person who 3d prints stuff, but rather the type of people who practically turn stuff into reality, or at least use high quality materials like actual metal or techniques.

Sword idea was ESPECIALLY inspired by D.Mon and her MEKA sword. This is just more for personal use and training as she is just fine with how her mech works now.

A lot of it was formed together with left over parts from her newest mech, and scraps from her old mech.

The reason this personal sword is very much larger than normal ones is most definitely because of the same big ass swords in video games. While most people recommend her getting a smaller sword, she already had her dream in mind (although she did have to work around and plan about the actual weight and strength needed to carry it).

If you squint hard enough, there is just an itty bitty reason of one of them being Vendetta (and how they bump heads a lot). Not a big enough reason for any of this, but still there.

She likes it a lot because it does help her out with some upper body strength and use of a melee weapon, which after stuff with Overwatch got SERIOUS like the Talon attack, she's been working far more on improving herself physically incase she can't utilize her mech and must rely on herself. She hasn't brought it back out on the field, and doesn't plan to until the right time comes where it could remotely be needed and she has the strength and skill to use it.

Reinhardt helps a lot with how to handle the sword and balance it out when swinging, but Genji offers more for swinging with purpose and how to use it more effectively.

She's a sucker for matching stuff so you bet there are some parts she can switch out, or that she can recolor, just to match with a costume or color she's rocking.

I hope they're at least accurate since I try and take in mind her serious, soldier nature but her shining idol gamer side too! That's all I really got.
