I hope all of your structures are coming together well! With the competition approaching, here are just a few reminders.

: your adviser must stay in the San Luis Obispo area for the duration of the competition, for liability reasons.

: you will get bottles/tumblers and wristbands when you check in, KEEP THOSE WITH YOU. While we will have water & non-alcoholic beverages to keep you hydrated throughout the weekend, we will not provide disposable cups. And the wristbands are your tickets to food.

: TAKE DOWN & MOVE OUT can start on Sunday, we will have a sign up sheet at check in. You can drive your vehicle into the canyon on Sunday for move out. Consider what time you think you can wake up, eat, and take down (and get your vehicles). Please don't underestimate, and move everything out before 1pm.

: EVERYTHING YOU TAKE INTO THE CANYON MUST BE TAKEN OUT. Whether it is by you (it better be), or the DV committee painstakingly picking up each nut and bolt in the hot 3pm sun.

: FOR THE FIRST YEARS - do not try to sneak pieces of your projects to the canyon early, the trek is part of the experience.
