genuinely love this as a little moral dilemma because on the one hand, as someone not living in a literal fantasy world, i understand the long-term effects of light pollution and would do anything to undo them. on the other hand, electricity(or some magical analog)'s kind of a natural evolution after flames- if lief doesn't popularize it, someone else will, and she seems generally well-meaning. nice little thought experiment to chew on. crunch crunch crunch
