Collapse (chapter 5 execution)
Suki limped back to her room quietly but not in any rush like last time. Bendy was dead and Peacock wasnāt going to be in any mood to harass her.
It felt like she was the only one that didnāt care about Bendy. Even though she had fought for his alibi like an idiot. A big studding idiot on TV for everyone to see the whole world over.
If that poll and what Bendy had said could even be believed. They were just sticking to the mastermindās script to keep everyone else alive, which was nice she supposed.
And they had said sheādĀ had friends at school. At least some vague nod towards her anyway. It was too good to believe, a promise already fulfilled without any hard work. Combine that with everything else had had said that she wasnāt going to trust, and she chose not to believe any of it. All lies to make them unwilling to fight back.
Just live, she just was going to focus on living. Screw what everyone else thought of her. Nothing she ever did was going to stop them from hating her, she would always be alone. Maybe being alone is a type of victory, when everyone else is dead.Ā
Felt like that would be a hallow victory. At least it would be something? She would have some achievement to her name inside of just being a detestable failure that survived all this time only on luck. Her luck was running out, she knew it.
