Suki glared at the hollow eyed girl. Someone who by every right should have gotten along with her, but instead they had teased, ignored her, and been rude to her. There was nobody she despised more except the boxer. To top it off, they had Marie to care for them, and Bendy liked them. Why did someone so rude have friends when she had none? How was that fair, who allowed that to be the way things were?Â
She was resolved to hurt them but, well they were scary too. That big hammer they used to knock down Noah's door could crush her easily, and Suki was sure they had a gun in that hat too. She blinked, looking away to try and act inconspicuous. Hopefully they hadn't seen her staring. No, it wouldn't matter actually, they didn't care about her anyway so why would Peacock regard anything Suki did as important. They wouldn't notice, she could get one swipe in and they wouldn't even notice. Just to see how it felt to hurt someone.Â
Suki walked by them, stumbling when she got close and kicking peacock in the shins. "Ah... ahh ha... o-oops, I... I d-din't mean to...."

Watching the killer of her best friend be torn apart in his execution did not feel as satisfying as she wanted it toâshe keeps her eyes on Tougouâs mangled body for some time, even long after the others have gone. Of course, she feels absolutely nothing for this pathetic lowlife, but maybe, just maybe, if she stares long enough, sheâll feel the satisfaction that sheâs grown to desire after every execution.
Try as she might, however, Peacock feels absolutely nothing. She wonders if itâs because she didnât get a chance to off the conman herself. Justice is supposed to feel vindicating, but not when it feels as if everything is slipping from her control.
Mind swimming with different thoughts (many of which she wishes she could put out completely), Peacock slowly collects herself, leaving the trial room and reluctantly making her way toward the only place she feel she can be right now: the ruins of the planetarium. She didnât have enough time to put the body somewhere safe, and in her panic put it back among the rubble, hoping that it would remain untouched as soon as she got back.Â
Donât you ever think, Patricia? Why did you take so long to get back to her? What if that bear took her away to add her body to the others in the museum!? She couldnât allow that to happen to Marie. Her best friend deserves better than what she got.
I wouldâve given you a better death, Marie, she thinks to herself as she pushes aside the rubble she used to conceal the body, finding it exactly where she left it. Thank God. As delicately as she can, Peacock picks up what remains of her best friendâs body, propping them up on one of the fallen pieces of concrete and putting her only hand in her lap. Without a spine, itâs difficult to get her to sit up, so this will do for the time being. She makes sure to take the pendant off of her as well, storing it into her hat for safe keeping.
She looks so peaceful like this, even in pieces...
Backing away, Peacock breathes steadily, slowly, trying to stop the tears from coming for even a second. Perhaps what sheâs about to do is more for herself than for Marieâthe idea of anyone besides herself handling the body makes her sick to her stomach. She saw what that bear did to the others! Marie wonât be put on display for otherâs enjoyment! No way in hell would Patricia Watson let that happen to one of the few people sheâs ever loved!
How long has it been since sheâs done this? She feels rusty almost, letting Avery take the wheel and aim her eyes at her. He almost asks if sheâs sure, but seeing how determined she is, he already knows the answer sheâll give. Patricia can feel his reluctance, but he should know how she is by now. This is the only way she can reclaim what was taken from her, Avery! Let her have this! LET HER HAVE THIS!
                           âEYES... OF ARGUS!â
The sound of multiple shots being fired ring into the night, but sheâs uncertain if anyone would be conscious enough to hear them. At the very least, nothing remains to show what she did beyond another burnt out spot on the planetarium (another to add to the pile, she supposes). She stares at where Marieâs body was for a time, a pit knotting in her stomach the more she looks. Finally turning away, Peacock leaves the scene, missing the feeling of having Marie there to hold her hand after each execution.
Good thing she saved her severed arm, then. Taking it out of her hat, she holds it gently, thinking about how nicely their hands go together. Nobody can take this away from her. Nobody.
It was either a blessing or a curse that Tohru woke up in time to vote to avoid getting 'punishedâ- but damn, it was hard to stay conscious. Heâd ended up just keeping his eyes completely closed, not saying anything in hopes that he could just stay conscious- god, this fucking vacation did not need any more death, even if that was just the death of a worthless hikkoNEET like himself.
That didnât stop the sounds from getting to him, though. His mind was so incredibly cruel to him, listening to all of the sounds of everyone- it was all he could do to open his eyes to ensure he picked the right name, Tougou, before sliding back to the ground and shutting his eyes, hands over his ears in an attempt to block out the sounds.
Everything was.... fuck. Fuck. Fuck!
He didnât know why he felt like this- he didnât know why he was feeling. He was feeling more than he felt like heâd really felt in fucking ages, and it was confusing and unpleasant and he wanted it to fucking stop. But it didnât, because he knew what it was.
Despair.
Yes, Tohru was intimately familiar with despair. Heâd let himself get broken by it, so heâd obviously be an easy target for the bear- although in that sense, was he really any fun? After all, you could hardly enjoy a fall if someone was already there, as he considered himself to be.
And yet, this familiar despair still twisted and clawed and hurt in a way that he didnât understand, because it was no longer familiar. This was something different- something so completely different and he hated it and he wanted it to stop, but it wouldnât.
And at the center of it all, the focus of this whole trial it felt like, was Peacock.
By all means, he shouldâve hated her. She could be so annoying, sheâd dragged him around the entire time theyâd had those handcuffs on- and yet for whatever reason, heâd followed her. Heâd followed her to find those bodies... and heâd seen someone else lose their best friend.
His situation was different. He knew that- he knew it very, very well. His own best friend hadnât been murdered, or at least, he hadnât been murdered in the common sense. The person at fault could never be properly blamed, and that was his curse. His curse was that he would know the name and face of the killer and nobody would believe him in a million years.
Peacock on the other hand had the curse of knowing the killer, and knowing he was dead, and knowing that she wasnât the one who did it. Hardly better, was it? At least that bastard was dead, though-
Oh?
Now that was unusual. Tohru had no real reason to hate Tougou outside of his own basic desire for self-preservation. He had no real reason to think of him as a bastard, unless he didnât hate him for his own reasons. No, it was.... strange, but Tohru hated Tougou because of what heâd done to Peacock. That just made no sense at all, and he hated it, but hah! It was true. The ever nihilistic and antisocial hikkikomori actually was not only feeling a deep emotion towards someone, but he was feeling it because of someone else!
There wasnât much time to think about that, though. Heâd ignored the execution the best he could, and was now going to attempt to make it to his room to sleep- he couldnât let himself fall unconscious again and get punished. Thatâd be unfortunate. And like it or not, heâd have to talk to Peacock soon...
he didnât think heâd be able to rest these feelings until he did.
The feeling was new and she truly despised it and yet..it reminded her of someone.
Thinking back to what had happen. Another murder and yet, she felt no remorse over it. Quite ironic, for a priestess who was supposed to understand and not express hatred towards others but she never grew up like the rest of them. She was to tired to think about her opinion on Clive at this point and she couldnât bring herself to bring comfort to anyone else aside the fact that sheâll have to go check on Totokoâs wound later.
This feeling of anger....it felt so familiar. Like a fleeting memory of her childhood. Eyes widening in realization.
âAlm...â
She laid on her bed, pondering the memory of what once was. A chocked sob follow by strained laughter followed as tears rolled down. Whatâs the point in remembering someone from such a long time ago? She wasnât going to see him again. She was sure she had moved on from this.
She felt disgusted with herself.
The sobbing and the strained laughter echoed through the room.
Suki shuffled up back onto her knees to watch Tongouâs brutal death. Really no more brutal then any of the others. If that was Peacock or Totoko up there being shot to pieces, would it really have made her happy?
She tried to stand but again found that she couldnât put weight on her broken ankle and fell back to the ground. There was nobody here she could count on to help her up. The dumb teacher did so anyway so she just accepted at as he took her back to her room. Needing to be ferried everywhere made her feel like a child.Â
What they had said to Peacock made her feel even worse. All the friends that awful person still had, even after Marie had died. Suki was sure that would be it, they would be alone after that. But no, more garbage people crawled out of the wood works to offer their support. How could they support someone so awful?
Oh yeah. Cause Peacock was useful. A big stupid weapon pile. Suki was just a cripple now, worse then useless when she had to depend on people. As soon as Justin left her by her bed, she pushed them away. Still a dumb teacher who could never understand how she felt. All they wanted to do was make their awful jokes and hurt her.Â
âYou must be so lonely.â SHUT UP. As is he could ever know what that felt like. She had been alone from the very beginning and that teacher had never helped her once except to make her cry. At least with hate she could have the satisfaction of making others feel the same way.Â
But she didnât. The satisfaction wasnât there. So something had gone wrong with hate. Maybe Justin had a point there but...
She couldnât bring herself to like all those evil people either. Just stay away from them. There are still people who could be your friends. Itâs not hopeless. Suki smiled at that voice. Right right, she was alive wasnât she? Haha, yes the best way to make Peacock mad would be to make herself happy!

Suki sniffled, holding one arm with her head pressed down. An attempt to get peacock to feel the pain she felt had done nothing. Her foot just ached from trying to trip them, starting to turn brown with a bruise from kicking metal. Soon she would be limping. The noise from the bear sounded dull and far away, even when they shouted. Words inside her head screamed louder, calling for her to try to hurt again. If she could make someone feel how she felt, then they would understand, the voices said. âNnnn...â Suki muttered in limp agreement. But not right now, she had to nurse her wounds first and think harder before trying again. Everyone here was stronger and smarter then her, as well as lacking apparent pity. Spiting them seemed hopeless.
At once there was a sharp cold sensation on her tongue and then a burning pain coming from her arm. It hurt so badly, just as when Peacock had grabbed her arm but this time it wasnât stopping. Why was Akihiko next to her? She didnât want to be near him. He was causing this, he was making her hurt now.Â
Suki started wailing as soon as the cuff was put on. Her whole left arm felt like it was going up in fire. The more she tugged on it the worse it hurt. Tears came next but stopped after only a few drips. Her eyes were already dry from crying earlier.Â
The pain wasnât stopping still. Someone cut off her hand. Voices were screaming at her. âNOOo Noo SHUT Upp!â Suki yelled in fright. âI HATE YOU! DIE.â Still more screaming. âSTOP HURTING ME STOP HURTING M E STO P HURTING IT HU RTS STOOOP.â This is cause you wanted to hurt others you did this to âSTOP STOP MAKE IT STOP!â Help it hurts so much please âSHuT UP STTOOOPP.â Nothing was her own, save for the pain coursing through her in that moment. Exactly 30 second had passed since the cuff had been placed on her.
