Meanwhile, Keira and Discord were on their way home after running a few errands.

Discord: So, feeling better about running the art show now that we’ve taken care of most of the organizing?

Keira: I do! I’m actually a little excited to do it! Still kind of nervous though, but I feel better about it for sure.

On their way home, Keira noticed two friends of hers chatting.

Keira: I’m going to go say hi to some friends of mine, alright?

Discord: Uh, sure.

Keira: Why not come with me?

Discord was about to answer her question, but Keira was already on her way over to see her friends.

Daisy: Oh, goodness. Did that actually happen?

Dusty: Sure did, mate! I told Jazz to stay out of the paint buckets until I got back and when I finally came back-

Keira: Hey, Daisy! Hey, Dusty!

Daisy: Hello, Keira! How are you?

Keira: Good! I thought I’d swing in and say hello!

Dusty: Well g’day to you, too! We were just talking about our craziest art experiences!

Daisy: It’s true! We both saw you were holding an art show soon, so we started talking about our favorite kinds of paintings.

Dusty: Then Daisy reminded me of something my daughter Jazz did a few weeks ago.

Keira: Oh really? What happened? I mean, if you don’t mind me asking.

Dusty: Not at all!

Dusty: Anyhow, so I get back and here I find that Jazz covered the whole room in paint! Not just the paint for the walls, but the paint from her paint set too!

Daisy: Gracious! I can’t believe that happened!

Dusty: So, Keira. Word’s going ‘round that you’re raring to get hitched!

Daisy: That’s right! I nearly forgot! You are getting married soon! How’s the wedding preparations coming along?

Keira: So far, so good! I got most of the things planned out. I just need to get a theme and a dress picked out.

Daisy: Sounds like the plans are coming right along then! Good for you!

Dusty: I sure do remember my wedding day. Hooves down, the happiest day of my life.

Keira: I can’t wait until the day I get married. I love my fiancee so much!

Dusty: Speaking of fiancee, where is your lucky to-be?

Daisy: Yeah! We heard of who it is, but we’ve never actually seen him in person!

Keira: Well, wait no longer! Girls, I’d like you to meet my fiancee, Dis-

Keira: ...cord?

When Keira turned around, she noticed that Discord was nowhere to be seen.

Daisy: Where is he?

Dusty: Yeah, mate, I don’t wanna be a bummer, but there ain’t no pony there. What gives?

Sheepishly, Keira chuckled and turned back to her friends.

Keira: Uh, really sorry about that. He was with me just a moment ago...

Daisy: Oh, it’s quite alright. I bet he probably isn’t very sociable. No shame in that.

Dusty: What matters is that the two of you are happy and you care for each other. Besides, I’m sure we’ll get to meet him on the wedding day.

Keira: Thanks for understanding. I really thought he was with me a moment ago. He probably went home. I’ll catch up with you later!

Dusty: Sounds like a plan. See ya later, mate!

Daisy: Until next time!
