duskul replied to your post: That post with the little boy bothering the little...
if an adult encourages it, then boys learn from a young age that its funny and encouraged to harass girls and people generally view it as aw he likes her so when does it change from he likes her to thats sexual harassment?
I'm pretty sure the main point of the adult recording was to record the girl rejecting the boy, not the boy pestering the girl. So it could be the other way around, every time the girl says no and runs off the adults smile at her and tell her it's okay. But I totally agree that if the boy were to continuously do this and receive no punishment then he might wander into sexually harassing someone. And all we have are gifs, so we don't know if the person behind the camera might be telling him to stop. I just think it's silly to see the gifs and automatically think "rape culture." I honestly think that if the little girl was the one bothering the boy we wouldn't be having this conversation.
