Scanned from a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 negative owned by Digital Rail Artist. The Dash-8 40CM is a conventional C40-8 with Dofasco trucks, a Canadian style safety cab, and a Draper Taper carbody. A total of 84 units were sold to three customers: CN, British Columbia Railway, and the Quebec, Northshore & Labrador, all built 1990 to 1994.
