I'm still clinging to The Spoiler being a fake out. Over the past few weeks I've seen quite a few blogs gradually coming round to the possibility of it being real. But not me....
See back in the day, the day being 2004, I was a member of the Farscape fandom. Farscape was a sci-fi show, so characters that you thought were dead often had a mysterious sci-fi-y way of turning up again later on when you least expected.
One of these characters was the menacing and psychotic Durka, the terrifying arch nemesis of one of the mains, and he turned up, somewhat miraculously, no less than 3 separate occasions, all three times after being presumed dead. In his final appearance, it's presumed that he's part of the plot to cause trouble yet again, but completely unexpectedly his arch nemesis, main character Rygel, who has been terrified of this man for decades, suddenly shows up in scene in the middle of the episode with Durka's very dead head impaled on a staff. Which he carries around with him for the rest of the episode like a trophy.
After that whenever fans spoke about characters who disappeared or were presumed dead, they were referred to either as 'head-on-a-stick dead' (definitely without a doubt not coming back to the show/story) or 'not head-on a-stick dead' (and therefore potentially able to return even if it looked like they had died).
The moral of this story is that until Bobby is 'head-on-a-stick dead' then I will simply refuse to believe it. Yes I know 911 is not scifi, nor is it the kind of show that lets you think characters are dead only to bring them back later, but right now 'head-on-a-stick dead' is all that's keeping me going, it's going to be a tough couple of weeks and I know at the end I will have my answer but until then it's sad clowning for me 😭.
Rygel the Henson puppet with his arch nemesis's head on a stick (you thought 911 was unhinged? Oh sweet summer child 😂)
