So when you ride for the HDMC and your dared by a big dummy over at @sscycle to do something that โshould workโ , you lay it all out on the table cause your just as dumb knowing you only have 2 weeks before you have to be 16hrs away from home to race the bike at the @the1moto show which was once again super fun and killer . HUNTER โโ โ you should take the heads off , flip front to rear vise versa plus 180 them so that you get true Xr1000 left side exhaust . From what i can see with the motor i have ( older street) . I see no issues and should work ๐ณ, Dumb!!! Well it worked ๐บ๐พ๐ฅ๐๐ป๐ฅ, And I couldnโt be more happy with the outcome . With the huge help from @harleydavidson for the bike and believing in me , @medium_made @fxttodd from @sscycle for the challenge -one off exhaust and mini tear drop air cleaner , @mattcortezcycles for all the expert mechanical help , @sk_machine for all his machining help @hbharleydavidson @riversideharley for their dealer sponsorship help, @thegonz for all his help and being a rad team mate , @willlbrand for his late night help . We pulled it off . Basically test rode it / slash raced it in Portland . Came back home and adjusted a few things that didnโt feel right or limited me on the track . We should be perfect now . Our bikes are in route to the beautiful city of Milwaukee to party on the syrup concrete track that you all know so very well @flatoutfriday .
