Albus and I are kind of thinking with everything that happened in the last year more has been happening and we thought about sending Xavier an owl because he always explains what he thinks is really happening when the prophet lies again. Duncan: Hey Lil Bud! I think it’s a good idea to send an owl to Headmaster Xavier but I do believe that he won’t tell you full details just yet since you guys might do something stupid. Not that you actually do anything stupid though! He probably just doesn’t want you guys to get too involved because it’s your parents that those masked men are targeting. It’ll be safer to debrief you guys once you’re on campus. I’ll be moving to Hogsmeade soon and go to the castle. And I’ll be sure to tell you everything if Headmaster mentions anything about it. Don’t go on investigating too much, okay? Safety first.

When Blaine first came to Hogwarts it was kind of hard for him to find friends because he hadn’t accepted himself completely yet. The bullies hadn’t helped either with creating confidence. The few things he were confident about were his passions and one of them was fencing. He started looking for people so he could build the fencing club back up again and he was incredibly happy when he found Duncan. The boy was so genuine and sweet to him and he definitely helped Blaine in his journey of acceptance. Duncan was pretty much his first guy friend who treated him like a normal person.

One day Blaine had baked some cupcakes and had brought them back to fencing practice to share with Duncan. What started with simply eating cupcakes, quickly turned into pushing the icing of the cupcakes in each other’s faces. What should’ve been a fencing match turned into a match of cupcake wrestling.

Duncan was Blaine’s first official guy friend that treated him normal and for Blaine that was a huge deal. He could have fun and share a passion with the other while also talking like friends would. He never really had that before and it was really nice that he was friends with a guy for a change. Other guys always stayed away from his because they were afraid he would jump them or whatever. As their friendship evolved they got closer and now Duncan is definitely one of his best friends. Duncan is the kind of friend he would trust with his secrets and that was something he never wanted to lose.

Here are a few things Kitty likes about Duncan: He has a nice smile. He knows how to make her laugh. He seems like he’d be easy to trick into believing that Professor Wayne secretly wants to become a circus performer. He always seems to be in a good mood no matter how many times she insults him, she likes resilient people. He actually appreciates how awesome Professor Rogers really is.

Here are a few thinks that annoy Kitty about Duncan or that she dislikes about him: He thinks dressing scene is cool. He really seems to believe that orange is a good color on him (it’s not). He knows more about pigeons than any bloody person ever should and he never stops talking about them. He thinks he’s hotter than Professor Rogers, which clearly means he needs to have his head checked by the Healer’s at St. Mungo’s.
