Nerves and the energy they give off can make a really good shot, so don’t freak out about that too much! A good thing to remember is to breathe out before they take the photo; holding your breath can make you look overly conscious and uncomfortable with what’s going on and comes through in a frame. Remember that modelling can be harsh! Harsh harsh harsh! You get pinned and prodded and bossed around, but if at the end of the day you’re enjoying it, let it come through and you’ll make a lot of good connections really quickly. Be friendly and polite and always always always introduce yourself to the stylist/photographer/crew. People get over the too-cool attitude very quickly, it’s just not pleasant to work with.
