Just to give you an idea the left side is the mother and the right is the guidance councilor. I played both characters in the short film Falling Uphill. Their clothes and voice tones are completely diffrent and I loved playing with that while filming. I tried making the same expression in this photo but with softer eyes to show that their drive and where their emotions come from are not the same. Another shot of me as the mother in Falling Uphill. You don't really see the mother's face in this short film...which is the idea, thus body language and hair sass is key. And do I ever have enough of that 😏 but in all seriousness I loved doing these types of shots where focus was more on my hands, hair and posture rather than just focusing on the facebook know "Oh yes it is the mother". It kind of takes the vanity out of it and makes one associate the sound of her heals and the snarl of her lips more with the idea of the character than me portraying a cold person.
