Tear drops falling, betraying the taunting mask they hid behind as they hit the cold snow like small frozen diamonds. Hot breath hitching in emotional agony as fingertips shivered within their tight grip of a bloodied knife.Β
His body ached & shuddered violently as he fought the pain & desire to curl up into himself. He felt like a child --Homesick, tired & scared. Feelings that would normally throw him into a tantrum, hating just how weak it made him feel.
But-
No matter how he tried to look at it. No matter how tough he acted before his Legion &pretended like everything was better than it could have been. He knew he was lying. He knew he was wrong.Β

He huffed between thick tormented sobs. He had never cried in front of someone before. Not even his own Legion. Usually preferring to hide away somewhere no one would bother him, or drown away the agony of it all in stolen booze.Β
But with Jake below him, bloodied & awaiting death --It reminded him of the Janitor so long ago. Breaking him. Knees hitting the snow covered earth with a heavy thud as blood stained hands gripped the side of his hooded head. Deep breaths turning panicked as he let out an anguished sob of frustration.Β
He didnβt want to do this any more.Β
He wanted out. He wanted to leave.
He wanted to go home.
Even if he never had a home to go back to.
