#duality game

Since you're working on the full game now and no longer doing more upDATES (omg I made a pun— Keith put me out of my misery please) I'm now stuck with the evil thought of these two realizing something...

The game is going to end.

Sure there will still be more players who have their own universes with the boys but those who are "one and done" players or completionists or even just players who will revisit the game later on... they'll be gone..! Now of course this is but a blip in the multiverse of mcs, players, and their choices; but for the pair this is quite literally ALL THEY HAVE!!

Their beloved is gone, won't come back, and there's nothing to be done except wait for a new game or by the grace of the canvas and paint gods — An actual return of their beloved!

Since they technically are self aware (as seen in the interlude and confirmed in the blog) — I wonder how crushed they'd be knowing that this adventure will end! Desperation, perhaps? The impending doom of knowing that what they have is fleeting— simply the evilest thing in a romance visual novel...! Good job on living up to the title of Nightmare Weaver!

It also hurts more knowing that both Keith and Tenebris' abandonment issues are already a thing... especially for Keith... where he has been abandoned many times by people who meant a lot to him! Also makes you wonder if their adamant dislike of threats of leaving are in part caused by knowing that MC could turn off the game at any time/leave permanently... (I think so..!)

They might not even know that the end is nigh... or maybe they do..! That the game played by the one who stole their hearts will cease, taking everything with it! Though of course until the the possible sequel (if that's still on the table)! I think it would also be hilarious seeing them get abandoned only to resume year(s) later like nothing happened! Overthinking to the MAX then "Oh hey Duality 2!" With them being dragged back 💔. Players moving from Duality to The Price of Lust or Where Gods Rot or Happy Land (if it's not abandoned!) or other future projects! (Also sorry if mentioning other games is prohibited/not welcome! If so then scratch that..!)

Just a "Hey so I'm leaving indefinitely to go sleep with some demons! Bye!!" Or "I'm leaving so I can see a chained up guy!!" Because Keith and Ten Ten are just so chill who definitely won't feel any which way about it...! They're fine..!

It just feels very bittersweet knowing all this writing and lore (while still appreciated greatly) is going to end! But before this acts like a funeral for a game that isn't even over yet— I will be very silly and say this...!

"You're leaving us to go see lustful demons?!"

"With PLOT!! WITH PLOT!!"

But overall I cannot stress enough how much time and effort is shown in your work! The way the characters are developed, lore being so enticing that you cannot wait to see how it goes, even the asks that clarify fan questions/give their own sprinkles of lore themselves!

Though I must say... I am (still) VERY intrigued in the aus and still scroll through the tags from time to time to soak up all the interesting characteristics that shine/change in the different circumstances! They're the same at their core but not changed too drastically to where it's just "okay this is literally two different people with the same name"!

It's nice how UT! Keith is more of a spoiled and pompous person that boarders on bratty, but isn't cruel! He's just a very privileged rich guy who is more confident as he had no trauma of a fae invading his body! UT! Tenebris is similar where he's not softened by the experience of sharing a body with a human, so he's more aggressive towards humans because of it..!

Even Siren Keith is more out there with what he wants; even if he's clingy in siren society...! Or Pirate Tenebris who is an outlander in his own right! But at least he's not forced in a society that hates him (well technically some people hate pirates but at least they hate him for his occupation and not just being a fae...)! Pixie Keith is just happily in a garden somewhere while his other counterparts are either crashing out or making humans crash their boats...!

Okay enough rambling about the aus and back to the topic..!

It's all very well developed and even though every ask I shower praise— it's still nice to shower creatives/artists in compliments (especially with how all forms of art are being attacked with generative ai)! Very excited to see the full game and excited to see what other plans you have in store!

Ah, I love long asks about my games. Thank you for all the kind words and for taking the time to look so deeply into my stories. It's honestly all I ask for when it comes to making free to play games.

I won't say much on their self awareness about the game ending. That's going to be addressed eventually!

If it’s not too much I’d like to ask what Keith and Tenebris would say and do to comfort an mc who opened up about having never/rarely feeling safe or loved and kind of wishing to be whisked away.
